Former Georgia RB Todd Gurley II is one of the NFL’s best running backs and is fresh off an outstanding 2017 season for the Los Angeles Rams.

Now, it appears he’s taking No. 2 overall pick Saquon Barkley — the former Penn State star and current New York Giant — under his wing.

On Tuesday, the two running backs got together for an intense workout, which you can see below. The workout combined 315-pound deadlifts with 42-inch box jumps and then moved into full-out sprints:

These two are going to be tough to bring down this fall, and it’s no surprise they enjoy pushing each other in the weight room.

Gurley was the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year last year, and Barkley could end up being the Offensive Rookie of the Year this fall.
