If you ask Paul Finebaum, the star of the third day of SEC Media Days has been Jeremy Pruitt.

The SEC Network host was quite grandiose in his praise of the Volunteer coach following his appearance at the main podium.

“Jeremy Pruitt killed it in this room… He was brilliant,” Finebaum said of Pruitt following his speech.

The radio host didn’t stop there, he went all in on former Tennessee coach Butch Jones and his alma mater for stumbling over itself over the last decade both on the field and in the school’s leadership and administration.

“A year ago, Butch Jones was disingenuous, thin-skinned, he was a pathetic carney-barker and he’s now gone and Tennessee fans want to see a real coach up there and they have a real coach and they also have a real athletic director,” Finebaum said on the air. “The man that should have been hired in the first place, who was passed over in spite of everything Phillip Fulmer has done for this university. I think for the first time in a long time, the University of Tennessee is back on the right track.”

Do you agree with Finebaum? Will the combination of Pruitt and Fulmer be the combination that brings Tennessee football back to relevancy?
