The 2018 SEC season gets underway when Texas A&M hosts Northwestern State on Thursday night. Most of the conference’s teams play on Saturday, before LSU plays Miami in Dallas on Sunday night.

Many of the SEC schools play at home in Week 1 against lesser opponents, giving them a strong chance of starting the season with a win.

ESPN’s Football Power Index has predicted all of the Week 1 matchups, and it gives many of the SEC a good chance of winning this weekend.
