Florida coach Dan Mullen met with the media Monday to recap UF’s 13-6 at Mississippi State and preview the team’s upcoming showdown with LSU.

The LSU game is setting up to be a big weekend in Gainesville, Fla. The 2008 national championship team returns to UF to mark the 10-year anniversary of that special Florida football season. The quarterback of that team, Tim Tebow, will become the sixth inductee into Florida’s Ring of Honor, joining Gator legends Wilber Marshall, Emmitt Smith, Steve Spurrier, Danny Wuerffel and Jack Youngblood. Tebow will also have hosting duties for the SEC Network traveling pregame show “SEC Nation,” which will broadcast on UF campus that morning.

While the past will be celebrated, it’s also a big weekend for the future of the program as the top home game of the 2018 schedule. With a top-five team coming into town and key recruiting targets watching, Mullen is calling on Florida fans to deliver an electric atmosphere.

“I expect there to not be an open seat anywhere in The Swamp,” Mullen said. “I expect to see people on their feet.”

He called on UF students to lead the way in helping The Swamp come alive.

“It’s a great challenge for our student body… The student body sets the tempo.”

LSU and Florida are set for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff. Those who cannot make it to The Swamp can see the No. 22 Gators (4-1, 2-1 SEC) and No. 5 Tigers (5-0, 2-0 SEC) on CBS.
