With four upsets of top-10 teams (plus other ranked losses) and six ranked teams on bye weeks, the voters of the Associated Press Top 25 have quite a lot of sorting to do after Week 7.

Ohio State will move into the No. 2 spot in the Week 8 poll. Current No. 2 Georgia fell at LSU as the No. 13 Tigers won 36-16. The No. 3 Buckeyes took care of business, beating Minnesota 30-14.

The new No. 3 isn’t as clear, but it will likely be Clemson even though the Tigers were on a bye. Notre Dame barely beat Pittsburgh (19-14), but will likely move up from No. 5 due to shuffling in the poll.

For LSU, it will almost be like the Florida loss never happened. The Tigers will likely move back to No. 5 thanks to so many losses in the top 10 (No. 2 Georgia, No. 6 West Virginia, No. 7 Washington, No. 8 Penn State). When voters look at resumes, they will likely conclude LSU belongs ahead of Texas, UCF and Michigan.

Other SEC teams to benefit from all the Week 7 chaos will be Florida (currently No. 14), Kentucky (No. 18), Texas A&M (No. 22) and Mississippi State (No. 24).
