2 SEC players named on Kirk Herbstreit's list of Week 8 standouts
There were plenty of notable performances around the country in Week 8, from Purdue’s upset of Ohio State, Washington State beating Oregon in a Pac-12 showdown and Nebraska picking up its first win under new coach Scott Frost.
Even though there weren’t many notable results in the SEC, two players still stood out to ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit.
As you can see below, Herbie named Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa and LSU S Grant Delpit to his list of standout performers:

Tagovailoa could be No. 1 on this list every single week with the year he’s having, and Delpit has looked like one of the best defensive backs in the country, too.
They’re fun to watch this year, and this probably won’t be the last time we see them on Herbie’s list.
