Maryland governor 'deeply troubled' by Board of Regents reinstating DJ Durkin
Add Maryland governor Larry Hogan to the list of people who aren’t happy with Maryland’s decision to reinstate coach DJ Durkin.
On Wednesday, the governor issued a statement saying he was “deeply concerned” about the lack of transparency from the Board of Regents regarding their decision to reinstate the embattled coach.
As you can see in his strong statement below, he said the University System of Maryland has let down the citizens of the state:

Based on several players reportedly walking out of yesterday’s meeting with Durkin, it seems many agree with the governor.
How much longer Durkin remains at Maryland is unknown, but the heat is certainly on from some of the state’s top politicians.
