If you had submitted a script of the past two Alabama seasons to a Hollywood studio, they would have rejected it for being too unrealistic.

However, Alabama QB Jalen Hurts lived out his fantasy on Saturday afternoon in the SEC title game. A year after being benched at halftime in the National Championship Game, Hurts took over for the injured Tua Tagovailoa and led the Tide to a come-from-behind victory over Georgia.

After the game, Hurts tweeted an amazing photo of himself, giving thanks to God for giving him strength to stick with the Tide through so much:

Hurts can tie a ribbon on his 2018 season with a win in the championship game this year. Tagovailoa will likely be back as the starter, but Hurts can help his team in different ways.

For now, he’s the talk of the town in Tuscaloosa, and it’ll be fun to see how the Tide use him in the College Football Playoff.
