Missouri head coach Barry Odom has had an up-and-down last couple of years, getting off to slow starts before finishing each of the 2017 and 2018 seasons strong.

After it was rumored that Louisville had interest in him earlier this coaching carousel season (the Cardinals have since hired Scott Satterfield), many have wondered if the Tigers would give Odom and extension and/or a raise.

On Tuesday, the Missouri board of curators announced a special meeting that will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. Central time. According to Columbia Tribune reporter Daniel Jones, a source has said the curators will discuss a new contract for Odom:

The Tigers have had some big wins the past two years, but have also had some devastating losses. Odom’s recruiting classes have also left a lot to be desired over the years.

However, he has the team playing well to close the season, and may get rewarded for that on Wednesday afternoon.
