If you were unaware, Green Bay’s head coaching position is currently open following the midseason firing of Mike McCarthy. Considering the Packers have arguably the NFL’s best quarterback on the roster, many suspect the franchise will attract a big name to coach the team in 2019.

Of course, there’s no bigger name in college football than Nick Saban.

ESPN’s morning show “Get Up” has been attempting to connect the dots in recent days, suggesting the Packers should go all in on Saban and make him an offer he simply can’t refuse to return to the NFL and coach up in Green Bay.

To that, Maria Taylor says, Saban isn’t even the one the Packers would need to convince to leave Tuscaloosa.

“You are going to have to fly down there and give $10 million to Miss Terry because she really runs that Saban household,” Taylor said on the program.

While that may have been said in jest, it’s likely true and something anyone connecting Saban to any job opening needs to consider. Taylor would go on to say she fully believes Saban will end his career at the collegiate level, and of course, doing so in Tuscaloosa.
