Mike White had to smile the first time he saw this clip.

If you don’t follow college basketball recruiting, you may not know the name Scottie Lewis. Of course, if you do, you know all about the five-star prospect from New Jersey. Lewis ranks as the No. 12 overall prospect in the nation and the No. 3 small forward for the 2019 recruiting cycle by 247Sports. He signed with the Gators back in December and will add to the collection of talent White already has to work with next season in Gainesville.

The 6-foot-5, 185-pound forward is the highest-rated 2019 prospect to sign with Florida in 2019 but not by much, as the Gators also signed five-star point guard Tre Mann out of Villages Charter School in Florida and four-star center Omar Payne out of Montverde Academy in Florida.

Lewis was recently featured on ESPN showcasing his amazing leaping ability. In an incredible display of his hops, the New Jersey native jumped over three teammates on his way to throwing down a windmill jam.
