After struggling on the field last season, the last thing Leonard Fournette needed was to get arrested in Jacksonville. Unfortunately for the Jaguars starting running back, that’s exactly what just happened.

Fournette has been booked on a traffic violation after being caught driving on a suspended license. The Jaguar running back had a speeding ticket back in November that he never paid, which resulted in his license being suspended, according to Justin Barney of WJXT4 in Jacksonville.

The second-year pro rushed for only 439 yards and had five touchdowns last season following his debut season in which he rushed for 1,040 yards and nine touchdowns.

Following Fournette’s arrest, the team issued the following statement:

“The Jacksonville Jaguars are aware of the situation involving running back Leonard Fournette and are continuing to gather more information. No further comment will be provided at this time.”
