Last week, it was announced that former Auburn RB Roc Thomas had been suspended for three games by the NFL.

It didn’t take the Minnesota Vikings long to act, as they reached a decision about Thomas’s future with the team on Monday.

Per ESPN’s Field Yates, the Vikings have waived Thomas, who appeared in five games for the team last year:

Thomas received his suspension for an incident dating back to January, when police found 143 grams of marijuana in his apartment.

Last season, Thomas carried the ball eight times for 30 yards. He also had two catches for 21 yards. He played for Auburn in 2014 and 2015 before finishing his college career at Jacksonville State.
