LSU coach Ed Orgeron had a bit of disappointing news Wednesday when he shared that LB Donte Sarks, a 2019 signee, would not arrive on campus in time for Tigers training camp. Starks has taken to Twitter to address his absence.

“Only if y’all knew what I’m going through to get into school😩but I manage to keep my composure🙏🏾 this storm will end soon and at the end I will have a story to tell and release to y’all I’m sorry for the wait,” Starks wrote in a Wednesday afternoon tweet.

The 6-1, 225-pounder from Marrero, Louisiana was rated a 4-star recruit and the No. 10 inside linebacker in the nation on the 247Sports Composite. The 2019 Under Armour All-American out of John Ehret High School picked LSU over 24 other scholarship offers, including Arkansas, Auburn, Florida and Clemson.

With Starks signed, LSU’s 2019 class finished No. 5 nationally in the Composite recruiting rankings.
