The SEC Week 2 schedule is rather strong.

LSU (Texas) and Texas A&M (Clemson) both play on the road against College Football Playoff contenders. The selection committee will surely be watching, and conference supremacy will be on the line.

College GameDay will be in Austin Saturday. Thankfully, the Texas A&M-Clemson game is at 3:30 p.m. ET, while the LSU-Texas game will be at 7:30 p.m. That way we can watch them both.

Only one conference game happens Saturday: Arkansas at Ole Miss. Both teams can’t afford to lose it.

ESPN’s Football Power Index is explained below:

The Football Power Index (FPI) is a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team’s performance going forward for the rest of the season. FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is. Projected results are based on 10,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule. Ratings and projections update daily.
