Alabama has made it clear this week that it’s not a fan of noon kickoffs for its games.

Auburn coach Gus Malzahn and Georgia coach Kirby Smart don’t mind them, pointing out that it provides them with more time with their families on Saturday nights.

The Crimson Tide made it seem like they play a lot more games at noon in September than their conference foes. But is that actually the case?

Well, the team at The Paul Finebaum Show did some research, and they counted the number of September noon games that each SEC team has had since 2014. And it turns out, Alabama didn’t have reason to gripe.

It’s actually Georgia that leads the way with nine September noon games during that stretch. Here’s more of the list:

But if Smart enjoys noon kickoffs, perhaps his players feel the same way and it could actually be an advantage for the Bulldogs.
