Another college football Saturday is in the books. This season is flying by.

Kirk Herbstreit was on-hand to call the Ohio State-Michigan State game, and the Buckeyes dominated 34-10. Ohio State may just be the No. 1 team in the nation regardless of what the polls say currently.

Herbstreit released his top six teams after Week 6, and it looks much like Week 5. Ohio State is the top team in the nation, according to Herbstreit. Alabama and Clemson, both of whom enjoyed a bye week, are ranked No. 2 and No. 3 respectively. The LSU Tigers checked in at No. 4, as they blew out the Utah State Aggies behind another five-touchdown performance by quarterback Joe Burrow.

Georgia hammered Tennessee 43-14, and Oklahoma thumped Kansas 45-20. The Bulldogs and Sooners rounded out Herbstreit’s top six.

Obviously, one team to keep an eye on after Week 6 is the Florida Gators. No. 10 Florida took down No. 7 Auburn in a dominant defensive performance, and the Gators travel to LSU Saturday night for a date against the Bayou Bengals.

College GameDay announced it would be in Baton Rouge.
