New week, same story: Arkansas fans again call for Chad Morris to be fired after horrible loss
Another week, another loss. On Saturday, Arkansas fans had to witness a 54-24 beatdown at the hands of a Mississippi State team that entered the game on a four-game losing streak.
The team looked lifeless until freshman QB KJ Jefferson entered the game late and provided a bit of a spark.
Now, once again, as coach Chad Morris fell to 0-14 against SEC competition, fans are calling for him to be fired. Below, you can see a small sampling of the tweets from frustrated Arkansas fans:
Here’s a pretty picture. Fire Chad Morris. pic.twitter.com/BtHFU5sbMy

fire chad morris please. not only does he make the mistake of not recognizing talent when he has it, but is also in denial of his mistakes https://t.co/nqnOGLBiAc

I think if Arkansas should fire Chad Morris they should be at Mike Norvell’s house as soon as possible.

I can tell you now if @HunterYurachek doesn’t fire @coachchadmorris by the time he walks off the field at War Memorial, Razorback fans will turn on him next. I have been almost indifferent towards Chad Morris and have been giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Ok I am done. Fire Chad Morris. This is a total joke. #FireChadMorris

For everyone saying fire Chad Morris today I must disagree. If we have to endure the rest of the season he should have to as well.

Sorry Chad Morris, but you have to go. Or fire John Chavis. Now.

Hunter Yurachek, if you don’t fire Chad Morris after THIS: pic.twitter.com/6ik7qWCbz1

I’ll keep it short and sweet. Fire Chad Morris. I don’t want to rant after losing 17 straight SEC games. According to him KJ and JSJ aren’t ready.

Will Arkansas win another game this year? The Razorbacks close the season with games against Western Kentucky, LSU and Mizzou. None of those games will be easy based on the way Morris’s squad is playing right now.
