Auburn defenders call out Tiger fans for lack of support during win over Ole Miss
The Auburn Tigers eked out a tough home victory over Ole Miss on Saturday night, holding off a late Rebel drive to earn a 20-14 win.
However, fans weren’t necessarily impressed with their home team, which entered the game ranked No. 11 in the AP Poll.
After the game, a pair of Auburn defenders took to Twitter to call out fans for a lack of support. LB KJ Britt wondered what fans were actually cheering for:
We need our fans on our side.. Starting to question what Auburn fans are cheering for now. Lets get back on track and make Jordan-Hare stadium GREAT AGAIN!

And DB Jeremiah Dinson said the stadium didn’t feel very energetic during the contest:

It has been an up and down year for the Tigers, who have struggled offensively during SEC play. With games against Georgia and Alabama upcoming, it’ll be interesting to see how home fans respond.
