The Memphis career of star big man James Wiseman lasted exactly 69 minutes.

The No. 1 overall player in the 2019 class chose to play for coach Penny Hardaway and the Tigers, but the NCAA ruled him ineligible early in the season, causing Memphis to file a court order to allow him to play.

Then, a suspension was agreed to, but now it appears Wiseman is leaving the program before the suspension is over. Per his Instagram page, Wiseman has withdrawn from school and will focus on the upcoming NBA Draft:

Even with this drama, Wiseman is almost a lock to be a lottery pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. However, it remains to be seen how Memphis fares after this news.

Wiseman scored a total of 59 points, with 32 rebounds and 9 blocks in his 3 games of action.
