Media reacts to LSU winning national championship over Clemson
The LSU Tigers are national champions!
That’s a sentence that seems to have been a long time coming, as the Tigers have been absolutely dominant in 2019 and now, in 2020.
The Tigers beat Clemson 42-25 behind outstanding performances from QB Joe Burrow, RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, WR Ja’Marr Chase and numerous other players on both sides of the ball.
Here were some of the media reactions to LSU’s title:
Congrats to LSU, the best offensive season I’ve ever seen. It’s not close either.

Ed Orgeron winning a national championship is one of the greatest stories in CFB history. Not a single person could have predicted it after the way his Ole Miss tenure went down. Just remarkable in every way

What a moment for the Tigers and the state of Louisiana. Can they keep the momentum going into 2020?
For now, everyone in the state will enjoy this title and alcoholic beverages will consumed on Bourbon Street.
This LSU team will go down in history as one of the best teams ever in college football history.
