The Early Signing Period and National Signing Day for the class of 2021 are a long ways off, but even the prospects who aren’t verbally committing are starting to narrow their recruitments. Pace Academy (Atlanta, Georgia) wide receiver Jayden Thomas has 26 scholarship offers. This week, he revealed the 11 teams he will be focusing on moving forward.

Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia and LSU are the conference programs on Thomas’ radar along with Virginia Tech, Michigan, Notre Dame, North Carolina and Ohio State. Thomas tweeted out images of a graphic with all 11 logos and a note about his recruitment. The note mentions former Georgia standout wide receiver Terrence Edwards as Thomas’ “Trainer Coach.”

Listed at 6-1, 198 pounds, Thomas is rated 4-stars, the No. 12 Georgia product, No. 26 wide receiver and No. 132 prospect overall in the class of 2021 on the 247Sports Composite. According to his 247Sports recruiting profile, Thomas camped at North Carolina in June of 2018 and took an unofficial visit to Notre Dame on Nov. 2, 2019. The Irish offered Thomas the same day.

Thomas took part in “The Opening Regional” in March of 2019, recording a 4.63-second 40 time, 4.21-second shuttle, and a 33.60-inch vertical.

“Jayden Thomas of Atlanta (Ga.) Pace Academy was one of the more impressive receivers regardless of class,” 247Sports’ Charles Power wrote after The Opening. “We caught Thomas winning several reps and he turned in a strong day on the testing front.”
