Aaron Nesmith’s time in Nashville has come to an end.

The sophomore forward on Jerry Stackhouse’s Vanderbilt team has announced he plans to declare for the 2020 NBA Draft and will hire an agent. That last bit of information ensures Nesmith cannot return to school for his junior season.

Nesmith averaged 23 points per game, 4.9 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game for the Commodores last season.

The sophomore is considered by many to be a lottery pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and may manage to move up the draft boards in the weeks to come if he’s able to workout for NBA teams.

“I have decided to enter the 2020 NBA Draft and intend to hire an agent. I am so grateful for what life has brought me so far and I cannot wait for this next step in my journey.”
