While Ohio State is marching forward with a plan in place to play college football in the fall, the Buckeyes have announced Ohio Stadium will be nowhere close to capacity during any upcoming football games due to COVID-19.

Ohio State is planning on capping attendance of Ohio Stadium to 20% of the stadium’s capacity this fall, which means no more than 21,000 fans will be allowed inside the stadium on game day.

In addition to that news, Ohio State is not allowing tail gaiting to take place. All fans that enter Ohio Stadium will be required to wear a mask and to physically distance from one another.

Here’s how the school plans on rationing out the seats when it comes to season ticket holders:

  • 1-10 season tickets purchased – retain a maximum of 2 season tickets
  • 11-20 season tickets purchased – retain a maximum of 4 season tickets
  • More than 20 season tickets purchased – retain a maximum of 8 season tickets.
