Alabama fans have been dying to get a look at freshman quarterback Bryce Young in a Crimson Tide uniform and now that they have, the young signal-caller hasn’t disappointed.

The No. 1 rated quarterback in the 2020 recruiting cycle enters training camp looking to take Mac Jones’ starting role, and if he keeps showcasing his incredible talent on the practice field, he may just do it.

Of course, it’s going to take more than a few flashy throws for the true freshman to beat out Jones — Nick Saban tends to favor quarterbacks that make the fewest mistakes on the field — but if Young can master the playbook in time for the upcoming season opener at Missouri, there’s no doubt Alabama won’t hesitate to put him on the field.
