Houston Cougars have now lost 4 September games to postponement or cancellation
It’s been a rough month for Dana Holgorsen’s Houston program.
If you were unaware, Houston’s upcoming game at Baylor set for Saturday was just postponed without a make-up date having been set. The game was going to be nationally televised by FOX but had to be called off due to Baylor not having enough players available for the game.
Losing any game, not to mention the day before kick off, has to be tough but this month has been absolutely brutal for Houston when it comes to games being called off.
As pointed out by Sam Khan Jr. of ESPN, losing the Baylor game means Houston has now lost four September games to postponement or cancellation.
Even worse for the Cougars, not a single game that was lost for the team came as a result of something Houston did.
Houston’s 2020 football schedule thus far:
9/3 vs. Rice — postponed by Rice
9/12 vs. Wazzu — canceled after Pac-12 decision
9/18 vs. Memphis — postponed after Memphis testing results
9/19 vs. Baylor — postponed by BaylorUH’s next attempt is 9/26 vs. North Texas

That’s just brutal.
Here is to hoping the North Texas game can be played, the Houston players deserve to play in that one after all they’ve been through in recent weeks.
