The Big 12 has already familiar with a Saturday full of upsets, but that trend may be continuing this week.

With all of the unique moving parts about this season, upsets may be a theme of this college football season.

Oklahoma State, which is ranked No. 11, trailed unranked Tulsa, 7-3 at halftime in a game that had limited attendance in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Likewise, the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns, which were ranked No. 19 after an upset of Iowa State last week, trailed Georgia State 14-7 at halftime.

Cowboys star RB Chuba Hubbard had 35 rushing yards on 13 carries by halftime, but Mike Gundy’s team mustered just 26 passing yards at the break. The Cowboys also lost a fumble.

The Ragin Cajuns, meanwhile, had trouble getting their running attack started as they had just 69 rushing yards late in the first half. They did, however, cut the deficit in half with a late touchdown after the Panthers built a 14-0 lead by early in the second quarter.

Louisiana and coach Billy Napier got a lot of attention this week, so the second half against the Panthers will be a good way to tell if they can handle the spotlight that comes from being a ranked team week in and week out.
