After a light Week 5 with just four games, the SEC is back to a six-game slate for Week 6.

Only one of the six games this week is a cross-division clash as Lane Kiffin’s Ole Miss Rebels travel to Nashville to take on Vanderbilt. In the other five games, division standings will take shape with a trio of SEC West clashes (LSU-Auburn, Alabama-MSU and Texas A&M-Arkansas) and two SEC East contests (Georgia-Kentucky, Florida-Missouri).

Here’s how ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) projects the outcome of each of Saturday’s 6 SEC matchups:

  • Georgia (85.9 percent chance to win) at Kentucky
  • LSU (52.1 percent) at Auburn
  • Ole Miss (78.5 percent) at Vanderbilt
  • Alabama (96.5 percent) vs. Mississippi State
  • Texas A&M (77.4 percent) vs. Arkansas
  • Florida (87.7 percent) vs. Mizzou

Here is ESPN’s definition of the FPI:

The Football Power Index (FPI) is a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team’s performance going forward for the rest of the season. FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is. Projected results are based on 20,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule. Ratings and projections update daily. FPI data from seasons prior to 2019 may not be complete.
