The Wildcats will be shorthanded heading into the Alabama game.

Mark Stoops hinted at the fact that his team had been hit with COVID this week but, of course, did not reveal any specifics when it comes to which players may have come into contact or tested positive for the virus.

On Saturday, Kentucky officially announced the following players would not be available to play against Alabama.

It’s important to note Kentucky did not give any specifics regarding these players, so they may not have COVID but they have been ruled out.

  • Defensive back Jamari Brown
  • Tight end Brendan Bates
