A-Day is officially set for April 17. Alabama hasn’t revealed the start date of the 15-practice spring session but a tweet from the official Twitter account of the football team revealed the date of this year’s spring game.

Athletic director Greg Byrne discussed the status of spring practice and the spring game during a Friday interview with the Crimson Tide Sports Network, posted on Facebook. He shared that Bryant-Denny Stadium will likely be at limited capacity, as was seen in the 2020 season.

“The plan is, at this point, to have a full spring practice, to have an A-Day,” Byrne said. “It’s not done yet, but we’re probably gonna end up having to ticket the event because we will have to limit capacity somewhere probably in the 20-25 percent range. We haven’t finalized that yet, working through those details, but we are gonna have it, which we didn’t have last year, so that’s another good step for us.”

Alabama’s 2020 spring practice was scrapped by the conference-wide shutdown of all activities in March of last year.
