Alabama coach Nick Saban is the highest-paid coach in college football. The Crimson Tide also reward assistants with hefty salaries.

On Monday, AL.com reported the salaries for the Alabama assistant coaches for the 2021 season.

As you can see below, DC Pete Golding makes the most of that group, checking in with a $1.5 million salary this coming season:

  • OC Bill O’Brien: $1,100,000
  • DC Pete Golding: $1,500,000
  • OL coach Doug Marrone: $755,000
  • DL coach Freddie Roach: $720,000
  • WR coach Holmon Wiggins: $575,000
  • DB coach Charles Kelly: $825,000
  • LB coach Sal Suneri: $695,000
  • DB coach Jay Valai: $525,000
  • RB coach Robert Gillespie: $535,000

Now, we just have to wait to see who Saban hires to replace Jay Graham as the tight ends coach/special teams coordinator.

But, with Graham’s reported salary, the collective assistant pool for this year’s staff was down about $1 million from last year.
