The betting line for Monday night’s National Championship has been set.

Gonzaga is currently a consensus 4.5-point favorite, according to The Action Network. The line opened at Gonzaga -5, but has since been bet down slightly.

The total for this game is currently at 159.5 after opening at 160.

It’s a minor miracle that Gonzaga is even in this game. The Bulldogs needed overtime and a buzzer-beating half court shot from Jalen Suggs to overcome UCLA on Saturday night.

Baylor’s path to the title game was a little less stressful. The Bears dispatched No. 2-seeded Houston 78-59 on Saturday night, putting themselves in position to secure their first ever men’s basketball National Championship.

Both of these teams cruised to the Final Four. Gonzaga won every previous tournament game by double digits and Baylor’s closest win was a nine-point victory over Arkansas in the Elite Eight.

This is the first time since 2005 that the committee’s two overall seeds have made it to the National Championship game. The Bulldogs and Bears are KenPom’s highest-rated teams in the country, too.

These teams were set to meet earlier this season, but a COVID-19 outbreak caused the game to be canceled. Instead, college basketball fans will be treated to No. 1 vs. No. 2 for the National Championship.

Tip off is at 9:30 p.m. ET on Monday night.
