Tim Tebow joining Urban Meyer in the NFL? Former Gators reportedly considering reuniting in Jacksonville
Tim Tebow making a comeback in the NFL?
It sounds like it may be happening and that may not even be the biggest news regarding Tebow released leading up to the 2021 NFL Draft.
According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, Tebow has moved to tight end and recently worked out with the Jacksonville Jaguars. ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter is also reporting this news.
Of course, Jacksonville is lead by Tebow’s former coach in Gainesville, Urban Meyer.
If there’s anyone that could get something out of Tebow in the NFL, who better than Meyer?
With the Jaguars set to draft Trevor Lawrence in the upcoming draft, Tebow could serve as a mentor for the young signal-caller heading into the NFL with massive expectations on his shoulders. That’s something Tebow knows all about after being selected in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
Update on a former first-round pick: Tim Tebow recently worked out for the #Jaguars, source said, and there has been at least some discussion of him signing. Oh, and he’s a tight end now.

Tim Tebow recently reached out to the Jaguars and requested a tryout at the tight end position, per sources, a move many believe would have extended his NFL career had he made the transition earlier. He recently worked out with the Jaguars’ TE coach. No decision has been made.
