The SEC dominates when it comes to the top 10 coaches in Power 5 college football, according to the latest CBS Sports rankings.

Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports compiled the coaching rankings, publishing the Top 25 on Wednesday. Six SEC coaches make Wednesday’s Top 25 with a particularly strong presence in the top half. Four coaches make the Top 10 while Ed Orgeron is next at No. 11. Only Mark Stoops is outside the Top 10, checking in at No. 22.

While it is a strong showing for the SEC, only Jimbo Fisher improved his ranking from No. 7 to No. 6. Ed Orgeron dropped seven spots while Dan Mullen slid two spots and Kirby Smart moved down one spot. Stoops and Nick Saban remain at the same rankings they had a year ago.

Fornelli’s evaluation of the six SEC coaches, as well as the rankings for the rest of the Top 25 Power 5 coaches, can be found here.
