Since being drafted by the Atlanta Falcons, former Alabama star WR Julio Jones has worn the No. 11 jersey.

However, now that he’s been traded to the Tennessee Titans, that jersey number is already taken, by former Ole Miss WR A.J. Brown.

And, it appears it will stay that way in 2021 and beyond. Brown took to Twitter on Tuesday to reveal that he offered the No. 11 jersey to Jones, but Jones wouldn’t take it:

During his Alabama days, Jones wore jersey No. 8. Could he go back to that number? It is certainly possible, as the NFL just opened up single-digit numbers to more positions this offseason.

We’ll see what Jones decides, but for now, Brown is planning to keep No. 11 on his back until he retires.
