Demetris Robertson has made the decision to stay in the Southeastern Conference.

Not only that, the former Georgia Bulldog is set to face his former team this season on the field as Robertson has announced his commitment to the Auburn Tigers.

Robertson will have just one season of eligibility remaining at Auburn. A Georgia native, Robertson began his college career at Cal. After two seasons in the Pac-12, Robertson transferred to Athens to play three seasons.

During his time in Athens, Robertson caught 42 passes for 443 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 161 yards and another score. Those numbers didn’t quite match his totals during his time at Cal, 57 catches for 837 yards and seven touchdown receptions, where Robertson was viewed as one of the conference’s best young receivers.

Robertson was rated as the nation’s No. 1 receiver prospect in the 2016 recruiting cycle. He was one of the fastest prospects in the country coming out of high school.

In case you were wondering, Auburn hosts Georgia in Jordan-Hare Stadium this season. The latest edition of the rivalry is set to be played Saturday, Oct. 9.
