Tate Martell appears to be on the move once again.

Martell is reportedly heading home to Las Vegas to play for UNLV. Coming out of Bishop Gorman, Martell was rated as the No. 2 player in Nevada, No. 2 dual-threat quarterback and No. 56 prospect overall in the class of 2017 on the 247Sports Composite.

Martell committed to Texas A&M on Aug. 20, 2015 but backed off his pledge to the Aggies on May 4, 2016. Martell committed to Ohio State in June 2016 and signed with the Buckeyes. He made headlines for transferring from Ohio State after OSU landed Georgia transfer Justin Fields.

Martell transferred from Ohio State to Miami in 2019. After two seasons with the Hurricanes, Martell entered the transfer portal again on Jan. 27, 2021.

Martell barely played at Miami, appearing in just three games, completing his lone pass for 7 yards. He also had 7 carries for 7 yards
