For the ninth time, the SEC and Big 12 will go head-to-head with a full slate of men’s basketball matchups when the 2022 Big 12/SEC Challenge takes place on Jan. 29.

The event will feature all 10 teams from the Big 12 and 10 of the 14 schools from the SEC. There will be 5 games taking place at Big 12 campuses, with the other 5 occurring at SEC schools.

In recent years, the SEC has fared better in the challenge. It went 5-4 during the 2021 event and holds a 25-24 lead over the past 5 years.

On Wednesday, the SEC announced the full schedule, with start times and broadcast information, for the 2022 challenge. Here’s the full itinerary for this year’s event:

Among the notable matchups is Kentucky-Kansas, as the Wildcats and Jayhawks are 2 of the most dominant men’s hoops programs in recent memory. This will be the second season in a row they’re facing off, as Kansas beat Kentucky in the 2020 Champions Classic.
