Missouri just landed a huge recruit from the 2022 class. Luther Burden chose Missouri over SEC powerhouses Alabama and Georgia during a ceremony at his local Boys & Girls Club.

Burden is a 5-star wide receiver from East Saint Louis High School, per the 247Sports composite rankings. He stated shortly after his commitment that he plans to enroll at the school in January.

Burden said that he knew Missouri felt right after visiting for the North Texas game.

This is Missouri’s second commitment from state of Illinois. On Sept. 6th,  3-star offensive tackle Valen Erickson chose Missouri over Nebraska and Cincinnati, per the 247Sports composite rankings. Erickson is from Chicago, Illinois.

Can Eli Drinkwitz keep the success on the recruiting trails going?
