Georgia could have star wide receiver George Pickens back in the fold for its next game as it makes a push for its first national championship since 1980.

The Bulldogs head to Atlanta to face Georgia Tech on Saturday. Per The Athletic’s Seth Emerson, Pickens could see his first game action of the year after his ACL tear during spring practice.

Pickens dressed out for the Bulldogs’ last game against Charleston Southern but didn’t play. Still, it was the biggest sign yet that a potential return was on the horizon. With Saturday’s game against the Yellow Jackets expected to be a blowout, it remains to be seen how much time, if any, he’ll ultimately receive ahead of the SEC Championship Game against Alabama on Dec. 4 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Kickoff between the Bulldogs and Yellow Jackets is set for noon ET on ABC.
