Jadeveon Clowney had a great year for the Cleveland Browns in 2021, recording 9 sacks, 19 QB hits and 37 tackles in 14 games.

Now, he has been a free agent this offseason, but it appears he’s decided on his future, at least for 2022.

Per ESPN.com, Clowney, the former South Carolina star and No. 1 overall pick, is re-signing with the Browns for this upcoming season:

Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney has agreed to re-sign with the Cleveland Browns on a one-year contract worth a maximum of $11 million after enjoying one of the best seasons of his career with the franchise, sources confirmed to ESPN.

Can Clowney put together another great year in Cleveland? If so, an even bigger contract might be waiting in 2023.
