Alyssa Lang is set to fill in for Paul Finebaum on Monday and be the first woman to guest host “The Paul Finebaum Show” on the SEC Network.

However, it won’t be the first time Lang has spent time with the audience. Earlier this summer, Lang guest-hosted the radio-only version of the show during SEC Network Takeovers.

Since the middle of summer, Finebaum has taken several questions from listeners and viewers about his vacation schedule, and the topic will likely come up again on Monday, if not later when he returns. Some in the audience have bristled about how much time he takes away from the show, and Finebaum has often responded with sarcastic one-liners.

Lang is well-known to SEC Network viewers as a sideline reporter for football and basketball, and host of Out of Pocket with Alyssa Lang and Thinking Out Loud. Lang is also one of the hosts of SEC Now, rotating anchor desk duties with network mainstays, Peter Burns and Dari Nowkhah, according to her ESPN bio. She co-hosts ESPN Radio’s Primetime with NFL insider Field Yates, airing on Sundays during the NFL season.
