As Alabama and Clemson appear to be on the outside looking in for the College Football Playoff this season, the Get Up panel of Heather Dinich, Paul Finebaum and Mike Greenberg took up the debate of the next team of the decade.

Asked which program would win the most titles in the next decade, Dinich chose Southern Cal, Finebaum picked Georgia and Greenberg went with LSU.

Dinich projected USC because of its move to the Big Ten and she believes the Trojans can “dominate” that conference.

She said Lincoln Riley is ahead of schedule, and has no problem recruiting, especially if he keeps local quarterback recruits with the Trojans.

Finebaum said, “Kirby Smart is the new Alabama in Athens. They look like Alabama and they play like Alabama of old. They are built for success. Yes, the SEC will get tougher with 2 new teams, but I don’t think anyone is going to knock Kirby Smart off at the top over the next 10 years.”

Greenberg went with LSU because Brian Kelly doesn’t have to get on a plane to recruit, and he will prove to everyone that he’s an elite coach and never got the credit for it at Notre Dame.
