Will Levis was shown throughout Thursday night’s TV coverage of Round 1 of the 2023 NFL Draft as he waited for his name to be called. Levis appears to have had enough of the green room. He reportedly won’t be on hand for Rounds 2-3.

Levis will not be in Kansas City for Day 2 of the draft, according to Nick Roush of Kentucky Sports Radio.

Levis’ surprising slide is one of the biggest stories of the 2023 draft. The former Kentucky quarterback was widely expected to be an early pick in the first round.

Leading up to the draft, Levis had been linked to the Indianapolis Colts, who had the No. 4 pick. The Colts ultimately drafted Florida’s Anthony Richardson.

Just this week, betting odds surged for Levis to go No. 1 overall. The odds shift appeared to be due to a Reddit post.

ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. has Levis as the best available prospect entering Round 2 of the 2023 draft.

Round 2 is set to begin at 7 p.m. ET. The Pittsburgh Steelers begin the round with the No. 32 overall pick.
