After moving from wide receiver to defensive back, Trevon Diggs has become a big part of the Alabama defense.

However, this year, he suffered a foot injury against Arkansas and wasn’t able to return to the field for the rest of the season. His presence was definitely missed during Monday’s title game loss to Clemson.

As you can see below, though, he’ll be back next fall for his senior year with the Crimson Tide, where he’ll be counted on to solidify a unit that struggled against the Tigers:

In his six games this year, Diggs recorded 20 tackles and one interception. He also defended six passes.

As a senior next fall, he should be a starter once again, so it’ll be interesting to see how the rest of the secondary shakes out.
