Ole Miss became the latest team to ascend to the No. 1 team in the country in college baseball, after Texas and Notre Dame.

The Rebels won a series at Auburn over the weekend to open SEC play, and that lifted them to No. 1 in the latest Baseball America poll. The Rebels have won their first five series this season and their strong offense is averaging 9.74 runs per game.

Ole Miss secured its first series win on The Plains at Auburn since 2009 on Saturday, thanks to a 15-2 victory. Vanderbilt, meanwhile, improved to 17-2 on the season, including a 3-0 mark in SEC play.

Arkansas (16-3, 3-0 SEC) swept Kentucky (14-7, 0-3 SEC) with a 3-1 victory in Sunday’s series finale at Baum-Walker Stadium. The Razorbacks are now winners of 11 consecutive games and 11 straight SEC series, have won their last 5 SEC Opening Weekend series, and swept in 4 of those 5.

Louisville swept previous No. 1 Notre Dame. LSU fell out of the ranking after it lost a home series this past weekend.

Oregon State now sits at No. 2 in the Top 25, with Texas, Virginia and Vanderbilt rounding out the top five.

The rest of the SEC was ranked this way:

1. Ole Miss
5. Vanderbilt
6. Arkansas
7. Tennessee
9. Florida
17. Georgia
