CFB player hauls in Hail Mary pass despite siren, cannon fire
Hail Mary touchdowns are always among the most exciting plays in football, and an NAIA game on Saturday produced one of the more unusual ones you’ll ever see.
Benedictine College quarterback Garrett Kettle found Tre Adger on a 42-yard Hail Mary to end the first half and give the Ravens a 23-3 lead over Missouri Valley heading to halftime.
The play itself was exciting but the acoustics that accompanied the play were the real standout.
Just as Kettle let the pass fly, sirens sounded and a canon blast went off, almost as if someone knew the touchdown was coming.

Benedictine went on to win the game 47-37 to improve to 5-3 on the season.
Kettle, meanwhile, was the star of the game for the Ravens, as he accounted for 400 total yards and 6 TDs.
