It is a shame that a team of LSU's caliber cannot sign a quarterback that can throw the ball. Great running game but basically no passing game. This is the main reason we were an also ran this year. This is laid directly at the feet of the head coach,
Failure of Les Miles to sign a decent quarterback. This seems to be his biggest failure over time. Seems like other teams always have a decent if not good quarterback. This makes LSU offense to one dimensional which is why we lose to teams like Alabama.
The non fumble was the right call. His forward progress had stopped and they were shoving him backwards. Sometimes I think announcers try to gin up controversy when there is none there. Look at the rules: runner is down once forward progress has stopped.
