Better check the numbers. The city of Tuscaloosas local economy is not what budgets Bama. Bama probably has more wealthy lawyers living in Atlanta than Athens U does. Their support & donors are nation wide. I’ve been to Athens, not exactly Atlanta or Tuscaloosa. You would have to pay a player to go there

Texas schools have always had a larger budget but still always under perform. They are second rate football schools. You might beat Goliath aka Bama, Georgia or LSU every 5 years or so but you get punked by inferior teams that same year. Jumbo will never consistently beat Bama and will continue to be mediocre in the conference. Money doesn’t win championships, ask your big brother Texas. LoL

He’s just stating the obvious that everyone in the world knows accept the delusional UGA homers. We blow them out in the SEC Championship and the score doesn’t even reflect how one sided it really was. Then, after both starting wide receivers and an offensive line starter is removed, they pull out a squeaker that went down to the wire. No excuses but everyone knows the truth.

This was always a puzzling hire. He is unproven and the small amount of success he had was at an inferior school and league and a program he didn’t build. They can afford a top tier coach but they prefer some subpar midmajor rookie that they can control. They are quickly becoming a bottom feeder while the good ol boy system continues to thrive. Auburn is simply a basketball school now and it will take an epic hire to revive it which everyone knows they won’t make.They could easily pull a Lane Kiffin or similar but those type coaches won’t tolerate the yellow wood homer or the other rich clowns controlling the place. The program is at a historic low, similar to when Pat Dye took over decades ago. The problem is, no Dye caliber coach will go near such a toxic dumpster fire with so many hands in the cookie jar. JSU hiring Rich Rodriguez will quickly make them the 2nd best program in the state which is a sad day on the plains. Maybe when the old money tyrants die they can rebuild.

Your not a Bama fan, obviously a disgruntled Auburn fan. No Bama fan would say such nonsense. This is the best coaching job of Sabans career. This team overachieved with injuries and young players all year.Saban used freshmen & transfers and went to the the Natty. Minus injuries to much of the starting skill positions, he would have won it. No excuses but they are all coming back next year! Now that your Auburn is a basketball school, will y’all still be in the SEC? A two touchdown loss in the Birmingham Bowl? Bottom feeding is becoming easy at the Cow College

All the Georgia homers need to remember that the dawgs always look like world beaters against inferior athletes and defenses. Stop pretending the SEC championship was close, it was a blowout. Our Oline is missing at least one starter now and Meltchie is out, so that will help you. But, you won’t beat Bama with Bennett, period. If you are loyal to Bennett again, all the hardware is going back to Title Town, again. If Kirby really wants to win, bench Bennett. He’s great until he plays NFL caliber talent. He will choke again and our D is getting better!

Minus Young, we’d still beat Georgia and most of the SEC next year. Lincoln Riley will crash & burn at SC. He won with Stoops players at OU but was still mediocre. He knew they were going SEC and bailed. If Bryce leaves he will get no more rings and his draft stock would plummet in a inferior program

Bama fan here but I really don’t want Auburn completely in the tank and the rivalry to end. I grew up enjoying Bama-Tennessee and now that old rivalry is dead. Who picks Auburns coaches? Harsin is an unproven, second rate coach. Auburn can afford much better. Why not Kiffin or even Jimbo? Many proven coaches they could easily snag with their bank account. Next season will be even worse with their best players exiting. They are becoming a bottom feeder quickly.

Better team? Bama could have hung another 30 on that inept defense that was supposed to be the best college defense ever. Also, that high school QB will get mauled by any decent defense. The Iron Bowl version of Auburn would have demolished UGA.

I hear a lot of UGA bragging about a game they’ve not even won yet. Here’s some legit reasons why UGA won’t win: 1. Saban: even in a down year they are very dangerous with the best coach ever. 2. Kirby: he has not proven he is ready for prime time. Just like Richt before him, he chokes in the big games. 3. Quarterback: Young will most likely win the heisman while Stetson will fold again when playing the best defense they’ve played all year. It takes an elite QB & offense to beat Bama, UGA has neither. 4. History: Bama has UGAs number, they call it the Bama curse for a reason. UGA has an inferiority complex when playing Bama. Until they break that, six in a row will become seven. 5. Players: Bama is the first team UGA has played this year with equal or superior players. Clemson is in a tailspin right now and not as talented as they have been. UGA has dodged the best 2 SEC teams this year. Bama or Texas A&M could expose them and I expect Bama to do just that. - Georgia’s best win is a bad Florida team, so why are they getting all the love from the talking heads? Until they have beaten Saban, they’ve won nothing. The SEC & the Natty still run through Ttown.
