Jayden Daniels is the new Heisman favorite after Week 12.

The LSU quarterback surged among sportsbooks this week and now leads Oregon’s Bo Nix and Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. According to Draft Kings, Daniels has -125 odds to win the Heisman. Nix is right behind him with +150 odds and Penix has +600 odds. BetMGM gives Daniels -130 odds and Nix +140 odds to win.

Daniels is having a historical season with LSU. The senior has 3,577 passing yards and 36 touchdowns along with 1,014 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns. He’s also only given up 4 interceptions on the year.

Nix, who sits just behind Daniels, has also put together an outstanding season with 3,539 passing yards and 35 touchdowns while throwing just 2 interceptions. Nix has led Oregon to a better record than LSU as the Ducks are 10-1 while the Tigers are 8-3, but ultimately it is an individual award.

Both quarterbacks leading the race have a chance to increase their chances this week. Daniels and the Tigers take on Texas A&M to close out the season on Saturday.
